Guarantee of Satisfaction

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the merchandise you ordered, just return it within 30 days to receive a refund of your purchase price. No returns on cutting tools. All returns must be in like new condition. Returns received after 30 days will incur a 15% restocking fee, unless the merchandise is defective.

To return an item, reply or forward to us your order confirmation stating what you want to return. Indicate both items and quantity. After receiving your request, and usually within 24 hours, you will be contacted via email with a return authorization and the return address. Repackage the merchandise that you are returning in its original packaging or equivalent and enclose the return authorization. Send your package via UPS or any other carrier to the address shown in the return authorization.

All returns must be pre-paid. No CODs. Please do not return any merchandise without a return authorization.


How to Shop Online

You can navigate our site and view our product information by clicking on the navigation bar or product category links. You can also view a complete product list.

Our web server automatically assigns you a unique "shopping basket" where you can store items you are interested in purchasing. When you browse through our product list you will see  buttons.  Clicking the button adds the item to your shopping basket. After you put an item in your basket, you can either place the order immediately by clicking Checkout on the navigation bar or continue shopping. You can put as many items as you wish in your shopping basket, and you can change the quantities added by clicking "CART" on the navigation bar at any time.

When you click the "CHECKOUT" button your connection with our server will become secure and all information you send us will be encrypted to protect your privacy and security. If this is your first time ordering from us, you will need to fill out your shipping and billing addresses, and a way to contact you if we have any questions. If you ordered from us before, enter your logon name and password and we will retrieve your previous shipping and billing information. Hit "continue" when done. On the next page, choose a shipping and payment method. Then click "continue." If you are ordering with a credit card, enter your credit card number (without spaces or dashes) and your expiration date. When you hit "continue" your order will be submitted for payment processing, and you will see a confirmation. You will also receive a confirmation by e-mail, assuming you entered your e-mail address properly.

Internet Security

We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to keep your personal information safe while on our site. Your name, address, and credit card information is encrypted to ensure your information cannot be read as it travels from your browser to our server. To verify, look for the padlock or key in your browser when you check out.

Chase is our credit card payment processor. We do not store or retain your credit card information on our site.


Payment Methods

We accept online payment using MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or PayPal. If you do not wish to send your credit card information over the Internet, we provide a phone or fax alternative. Simply shop online then go to Checkout and print the "Finalize Order" (step #3) screen. Click the "Contact Us" link at top of page then telephone or fax us.

You can also print the "Finalize Order" screen and mail your order with a check or money order payable to The Craftsman Gallery, P.O. Box 54101, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45254. Please be sure to include your phone number, shipping is shown on the "Finalize Order" screen. Payment by personal check may delay shipment of your order. Sorry, no COD's accepted.


Checking On Status of Your Order

If you are ordering within the continental United States, you should expect your order within 5 to 10 business days. To check on the status of an order, click the "Contact Us" link at top of page then contact our Customer Service. Be sure to include your order number in all correspondence, as well as your full name and address. In the future we will be adding online order tracking for all orders to our web site. Your patience is appreciated


Personal Information

You can shop worry-free 24 hours a day on our web site. We do not collect personal information when you visit our site unless you place an order or request our newsletter. When you place an order, we will ask you for the following personal information: your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, and your credit card number and its expiration date. This information is transmitted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, the approved industry standard to ensure your privacy. We may use your personal information to contact you for account purposes. We do not share, sell, rent or barter any personal information to any third party.


International Orders

We recommend UPS for Canadian shipments. For other international orders weighing more than 10 pounds we recommend FedEx. Most products may also be shipped internationally via USPS (postal service), but there are some size and weight restrictions depending on the country. For a FedEx quote, click on the "Contact Us" link at top of page and email us. You will have a choice of shipping methods at checkout. Note that you are responsible for paying customs charges and any applicable fees or taxes required at time of delivery.


Sales Tax

We are obligated to collect sales tax from our customers who make purchases that have a delivery destination in Ohio.


Out of Stock or Discontinued Items

While we try to maintain sufficient stock, occasionally an item you order may be out of stock or discontinued. In the out-of-stock case, we will place the rest of your order, and put the out-of-stock item on back order. We will then notify you of the item on back order, and the date it is expected in. It will be automatically sent to you when it is back in stock. If an item you ordered has been discontinued, we will notify you and let you know if there are any recommended replacement items.


Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a web site sends to your computer to aid in identifying you. We use cookies to keep track of who you are, what products you currently have in your basket, etc. Cookies help provide you with better service (for example. if you leave our site while shopping and come back within 90 minutes, your basket will still be there).
