Scribe layout marks for tenons, mortises and other joints with this wheel gauge then cut to the scribed marks with Router Boss, saw or chisel. The cutting wheel starts and marks smoothly, without having to worry about alignment or attack angle and without tearing during cross-grain marking. The sharp hardened steel wheel is ground with an inside bevel that helps pull the gauge tight against your stock and resists following uncooperative grain. A two-stage adjuster provides fine positioning of the gauge face until you tighten a knurled thumbscrew to secure it. An internal O-ring maintains friction on the 8” stem while setting the gauge. When not in use, the cutting wheel retracts into the face of the gauge. Extra blade included.
